Here is a close fitting winter cap for teenagers, men and women. It is made to be worn down with a double layer of fleece over the ears, but can also be rolled up a bit if you like.

This new beanie style winter hat is simple, warm and practical - AND good looking. I make it with 4 pieces for the top for a smooth fit and a nice deep band. I like the way this hat looks made with 2 colors of fleece, but of course, I'm happy to make it with 1 color as well.

As with all my other winter hats, I use only the highest quality of fleece.

Most of the fleece I use for this Beanie is milled by Malden Mills in the Unites States and is long lasting, warm, lightweight, not itchy, and won't pill or shrink. I particularly like the new soft grid fleeces for this hat.
