NEW! NEW! NEW! * * * FABRIC ART CARDS For my winter fleece hats I use only the highest quality fleece. Most is milled by Malden Mills in the USA. I love using Malden Mills Polartec fleece for its superior quality. I work hard to offer the best hats for all heads and using such a high quality fleece is a great way to start!
I am happy this year to again offer some fun and cute prints for my winter fleece hats and fleece socks. I can no longer acquire fleece prints from Malden Mills or Polartec because they no longer produce them. So....I've looked around quite a bit and am offering the best quality fleece prints that I can find. I will be adding them as I locate them and may not be able to re-order them. So, if you see something you like, it may be a good idea to order it before I run out.
All of my fleece is very soft and will not pill or shrink. It sheds rain and snow and dries quickly, keeping your head warm and toasty the whole time! It is machine washable and very easy to care for.
My adult and big kid fleece hats are all "one size" because the fleece is stretchy and has a lot of "give". They usually begin fitting kids at approximately 8-9 years of age.
The style of hat also determines how it will fit. IN GENERAL, a deeper hat fits a larger head and a shallower hat fits a smaller head. From this page, I offer 6 different styles of winter fleece hats for adults and big kids:
- The Classic Caterpillar, a comfortable pillbox style
- The Ursa, a simple pillbox hat (solid color or two-tone)
- The Velvet/Fleece Pillbox with either black, brown or, new for 2009, a beautiful plum colored stretch velvet
- The Deep Cloche, an attractive style for most folks
- The wide brimmed Lola
- The Square-top - a great hat for men - and women, too!
I offer 7 hats from the Stocking Cap and Jester Hat page - Stocking caps in 3 different lengths, a 4-tailed jester and several other styles of fun and functional winter hats. You have the option of ordering them with a regular band or with ears and a neck straps - Peruvian style!
My simple textured fleece scarf comes in 5 earthy colors and my Velvet/ Fleece scarf has been a big hit so I've added even more colors and am offering it with black, dark brown or, new for 2009, a beautiful plum stretch velvet. This scarf is soft and lovely, cozy and classy!
My comfortable and oh, so cozy fleece socks have consistently been a big hit and you'll find them again in 5 sizes for the whole family on the Fleece Sock page. These socks make a fun family present and many folks have ordered these for the whole gang.
