I now make any of my 4 closed cell foam brim styles in a Topless version for those of you who just want the shade on your face, neck and ears, but don't want a full-on sun hat. Basically this hat is an all-around sun visor. This full circle sun visor comes in 2 head sizes and both are adjustable with a drawstring and toggle in the back. I use a wicking fabric for the inner band to help keep the brow dry. These Topless Sunhats also have a neck strap to make sure the hat stays with you at all times. Like all my other foam brim hats, these Topless Sunhats roll up and travel well. If you need a larger size, I can make it. Just e-mail me so we can 'talk' about it. I can use ANY of the summer fabrics - cottons or Solarweave, which is a high tech solar protective fabric that has an "Excellent" UV protection rating of 40-50+. It is nylon supplex, so it is very lightweight, breathable and dries quickly. I put closed cell foam, (it floats!), in the brim, so even if you choose all cotton there won't be any nasty UV rays penetrating the brim. I can make the hats entirely of one fabric, (for example: entirely vanilla Solarweave OR entirely Spring Greens batik.) OR I can make the hats of two fabrics, (for example: Khaki Solarweave with Earth Grasses batik on the underside and trim of the brim.) So...
